We are so proud to bring our ANSHI Transdermal Rubs to people who are looking for natural ways of caring for their bodies.

We believe in the power of natural ingredients, and we know that they can gently and effectively speed up the time it takes for your skin to heal - and can fight everything from pain and swelling, to poor circulation, to headaches.

We are obsessed with quality, and we are also big believers in transparency - so we want to share with you exactly what goes into our Transdermal Rubs and why.

Coconut Oil:  we use this because of its emollient and moisturizing properties.  We also love how well it fights yeast, bacteria, and fungus.

Topical applications of virgin coconut oil are effective in promoting wound healing through faster epithelization. A histopathological study by Nevin et al. revealed increased neovascularization, fibroblast proliferation, pepsin-soluble collagen synthesis, and turnover of collagen in wounds. Coconut oil increased expression of CE (cornified envelope) components, thereby contributing to protective barrier functions of the SC (stratum corneum). Topical coconut oil protects the skin from UV radiation.

Castor Oil:   Castor oil is a powerhouse ingredient - it helps fight inflammation, soothes gastrointestinal complaints, reduces bacteria and soothes irritated skin!  It's rich in ricinoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid that helps lock moisture in the skin, which prevents wounds from drying out and promotes higher healing rates and shorter healing times.  Ricinoleic acid has some really impressive anti-inflammatory properties, and studies have shown that topical application of castor oil reduces inflammation and relieves pain.  Additionally, castor oil has been scientifically proven to be topically helpful for gastrointestinal complaints.  Because of castor oil's intensive moisturizing properties and ability to fight inflammation, it is used as an effective treatment for dandruff that is caused by seborrhoeic dermatitis.

Himalayan Sea Salt:  Packed with 84 trace minerals, straight from Mother Nature.

In order for something to truly be transdermal, you have to scrub the very outer layers of skin off that are designed to ‘protect’ instead of ‘absorb’. Scrubbing the stratum corneum through microdermabrasion is essentially achieved with ANSHI through the use of pink salt.

The skin has 3 main top layers, the epidermis, the dermis, and hypodermis.

In order for a product to be transdermal, it must soak into the skin deeper than the epidermis. That is how it enters the nervous system and quickly goes to work in minutes versus up to an hour with ingested medicines or supplements.

Vitamin E Oil:  this moisturizing oil does everything from relieving dry, flaky skin to promoting nail health, including preventing cracked cuticles and preventing yellow nail syndrome. It's terrific for soothing the itching and burning that can result from a sunburn.

Beeswax:  this helps keep our Transdermal Rubs the right consistency. Beeswax is a powerhouse ingredient - it treats diaper rash, psoriasis, and eczema, moisturizes the skin and locks in moisture, has anti-inflammatory properties, helps clear acne (due to its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic properties & vitamin A content).

100% Pure Turmeric Oil:  we LOVE this ingredient! Turmeric has been used in India as an anti-inflammatory for thousands of years - it's just starting to be talked about for skin benefits, such as treating acne, scars, and psoriasis.

Our Total Healing Turmeric is the first and only topical turmeric available on the market and solves the current ‘Turmeric Dilemma.’ This scientific dilemma is about how we can utilize this powerful natural anti-inflammatory to treat a wide range of issues from bites to skin-irritation, as well as, severe swelling and muscle or joint pain. Turmeric’s star compound curcumin has a potent anti-inflammatory effect. One comprehensive scientific report published in 2013 compiled the results from clinical trials of curcumin over the prior 50 years, claiming, to quote, “promising effects” for a long list of ailments, such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, uveitis, ulcerative proctitis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, IBS, asthma, etc.

100% Pure Peppermint Oil:  (PLEASE NOTE ANSHI NURTURING PEPPERMINT IS CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK) peppermint oil is a powerful essential oil, with many beneficial properties. Have you ever had a huge deadline coming and can’t move? Flu symptoms or fever? ANSHI’s Nurturing Peppermint essential oil is widely known for its respiratory benefits and treatment of headaches without the foggy brain often associated with traditional cold/flu remedies. Like many ANSHI ingredients, peppermint benefits the gut.  A recent study shows symptoms like bloating and digestion are lessened in 89.5%  suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

It is used to help treat many respiratory ailments including asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis, and coughs. Peppermint is an effective relaxant and can be helpful in treating nervous insomnia, stress, anxiety, and restlessness. Can be applied externally to relieve muscle pain, arthritis, itching, and fungal infections. Peppermint induces sweating and can help bring down fevers. Peppermint is a plant with potent antiviral properties, and can help fight viruses that cause ailments such as influenza, herpes, yeast infections, and mumps. Peppermint is also used as an earache remedy, to dissolve gallstones, to ease muscle tightness, and to ease menstrual cramps.  An account on the effects of peppermint on nausea appeared in the September 1997 issue of the Journal of Advanced Nursing, in which gynecological patients were given peppermint oil to counter post-operative nausea. The patients reported less nausea and required fewer drugs to treat the nausea. Peppermint is a considered safe treatment alternative for pregnant women with chronic headaches. Also its antibacterial and antifungal benefits are just starting to be explored research wise. (15, 16)

100% Pure Aloe Vera Gel: (PLEASE NOTE ANSHI DETOX ALOE IS CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK) we use aloe because of its gentle, natural laxative and anti-constipation properties. Aloe calms the skin and helps reduce itchiness and inflammation. It helps speed up the healing process of cuts, burns and insect bites.

Aloe is a natural anti-inflammatory, like our other 2 main varieties plant oils. In research like this survey on its benefits have been outlined well and its benefits on skin much wider known and utilized. See this great outview by Baylor College of Medicine. It is used in traditional Indian medicine for constipation, colic, skin diseases, worm infestation, and infections. In Chinese medicine, it is often recommended in the treatment of fungal diseases (Heber 2007). Aloe vera latex is commonly used in the treatment of constipation (de Witte 1993).
